Why Apply to the Soles of the Feet:
The soles of the feet contain more than
60 of the 360 acupuncture points distributed over the human body.
Both eastern and western medical studies view the soles of the feet
as the area that reflects the health of our internal organs and often
treat it as our "second heart".

What Happens When Wearing the Patch:
Three to four hours after application, you will discover that the Kawase Takara patch will
change to a dampened, sticky, mud like substance. The original color
will turn brown, gray or even black. This indicates toxins have been
extracted from the body. The darker the color, the more toxins have been excreted.
In the initial stage of using Kawase Takara,
you may experience a slight muscle pull, a warm tinkling sensation
or faster blood circulation. This is not a cause for worry.
These are normal symptoms that indicate Kawase Takara is functioning properly.
When to Wear the Patch:
Kawase Takara may be used during the day or
at night and applied to one or both feet. Wear the patch at
night to promote better sleep and wake up more refreshed and
energetic; or, wear the patch in the daytime when the lymph system
and blood circulation are most active. The patch should be worn
for about 8 to 10 hours. However, no single patch should be worn for more than 12 hours.
Application Process
Whether you elect to place a patch on one
sole or both soles per day, you should wear the patches for 5
consecutive days and rest for two. This process should be repeated
for approximately two months. You will know when the detoxification
process is taking effect by the change in moisture content and
color of the used patch. The detoxification time will vary by
individual. Experience has shown that when the discarded patch
is dryer and lighter in color, pain may be relieved. At this
stage you may start the maintenance process. During maintenance,
you will only need to apply the patch once or twice a week.
